MOD CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION & MAINTENANCE - EPC PROJECT

Project Information

The Project

aims to supply treated water for Injection through a pipeline that connects the water source (MOD – Third River at the Intake Area) with WTP, and then the WTP to ENI facilities at N-DGS & H-IPF for water Injection Purposes for Oil Extraction/Production. The duration of the design and construction phase will be 2 years followed by another 2 years of operation and maintenance (Including training and supply of spare parts).

Capacity :

300 KBWPD, and a future expansion reaching up to 600 KBWPD.

Project Status:

The Project is now at its final stages – the procured items are being shipped and delivered to the project’s site.

– Construction activities are ongoing.

The Overall treatment Plant is divided into three main areas:

Intake / Treatment Facilities / and a valve station located close to the Main Outfall Drain.

The main system consists of:

–   Intake Pump System.

–   Solid Removal Package

–   Sludge Treatment System

–   Chemical Injection System

–   Pre-treated Water Storage

–   Sulphate Removal Section using Nanofiltration.

–    Oxygen Removal Using Vacuum De-Aerator Towers.

–   Export Pumps, sending treated water to the valve station for distribution.

The Feed Water will be clarified using the Densadeg system procured by SUEZ to reduce the TSS to the desired levels for the UF System. Suitable chemicals were used like coagulants and polymeric flocculants to enhance the feed solids permeability.

The Solution for water treatment is designed to Utilize UF System (ZW1500) Submerged UF Membrane System and NF System to produce an average of 2,000 m3/hr of NF treated Water.
